The investment will bring forward a site that is fit for a sustainable future.

Solar panels will be incorporated into the refurbishment of the existing press buildings which be upgraded internally to improve their thermal performance.

The new building will incorporate more photovoltaic panels, green roofs and ultra-efficient mechanical and electrical systems to improve environmental performance and ensure a BREEAM “Excellent” rating.

Cycle and pedestrian access and links to the stations will be enhanced to improve sustainable travel routes.
