Landscape
Across the site the landscape will be hugely improved and expanded – responding to the local ecological context and enhancing the character of the site and the surrounding area.
A ‘green spine’ pedestrian route will run through the heart of the development to connect the station and the village to the centre of the site and the café.
The setting and backdrop to the existing War Memorial will be improved as part of refreshing and enhancing this area of the village, and the pavement on Station Road will also be expanded to improve accessibility.
